chocolate orange truffles


makes 20 truffles


  • 550 grams medjoul dates

  • 2 tbsp cashew butter

  • 4 tbsp raw cacao powder or cocoa powder

  • 1-2 tsp orange extract


  • place all the ingredients in a food processor and whiz together for a few minutes until a dough like consistency is formed

  • roll into balls, then roll each ball in some cacoa powder to add a finishing touch

  • refrigerate for up t o 2 weeks, or store in the freezer for up to 2 months
